Summary: The sermon explored the familiar parable of the Prodigal Son from Luke 15, examining not just the younger son's rebellion, but the profound truth about our Heavenly Father's heart toward each of us. We walked through the downward steps that lead to a rebellious heart—desire, decision, departure, deception, desperation, and want—only to discover that repentance and the Father's loving response await us no matter how far we've strayed. This message challenges us to examine where we are on this spiritual path and reminds us that God never stops loving us, never stops seeking us, and stands ready to welcome us home just as we are.

• The condition of your heart determines the direction of your life. There are only two paths—walking toward Christ into eternal life or walking away into eternal death. We must honestly assess which direction we're heading today..
• Satan's deception always leaves out the consequences. The Devil paints a beautiful picture of freedom and pleasure outside of God's will.  He never reveals the broken homes, broken lives, and broken bodies that litter that path. True freedom is found only in the Father's house.
• You don't have to clean yourself up before coming to God. The cleaning up is His job, not yours. No matter how deep in sin, how far from God, or how much you still carry the "stink of the pig pen," the Father runs to meet you with open arms, clothing you in His righteousness and welcoming you into His family.
• As we reflect on this message, let's remember that whether we see ourselves as the rebellious younger son, the self-righteous older brother, or somewhere in between, God's grace is sufficient. He waits with compassion, ready to restore and celebrate our return.
