Devotional: Resurrection Power

Devotional:  Resurrection Power
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is not just the centerpiece of the Christian faith—it is the turning point of all history and the source of hope for every believer. Too often, we celebrate the empty tomb as a past event without fully realizing what it means for our lives right now. But the resurrection was never meant to be admired from a distance; it was meant to transform the way we think, live, endure, and believe. Because Jesus rose, fear no longer has the final word, failure is not the end, and death itself has been defeated.
Day 1: The Power That Raised Christ

Reading: Ephesians 1:19-23

The same power that rolled away the stone and raised Jesus from the dead is available to you today. This isn't merely historical power—it's present reality. When you face impossible situations, remember that God specializes in making the impossible possible. The guards couldn't stop Him. The stone couldn't contain Him. Death couldn't hold Him. Whatever obstacle you're facing today—addiction, broken relationships, financial crisis, or spiritual defeat—God's resurrection power is greater. He didn't just demonstrate power two thousand years ago; He offers that same mighty power to those who believe. What "impossible" situation needs God's resurrection power in your life today?

Reflection:  What does it mean that the stone was rolled away not to let Jesus out, but to let the visitors in? How does this perspective change our understanding of the resurrection?
