What Does God Think of You? Understanding Your Identity in Christ
Drawing from Titus chapter 3, this sermon confronts the lies that Satan, society, and self tell believers about their worth and identity, and contrasts them with the truth of what God declares over every person who has trusted in Christ. The pastor walks through the believer's condition before salvation -- marked by foolishness, disobedience, deception, and malice -- and then reveals the transforming power of God's grace and mercy that changes everything. Despite what we were, God loved us enough to send His Son to die for our sins, justify us completely before His law, and adopt us as heirs of eternal life. The sermon calls believers to rest in four God-declared truths about their identity: they are precious, perfect, privileged, and profitable in God's sight. It also extends an invitation to those who have not yet accepted Christ, reminding them that as long as there is life, there is hope.
